Yes, a FOUR saxophone group! 3 tenors and baritone with piano, bass and drums round out this rare and exciting group! The name “Four Brothers” is derived from the famous Woody Herman Big Band saxophone section of the late 1940’s. Woody broke with big band tradition and when he started a new band in ’47, he went with this non-traditional saxophone lineup. The original “Four Brothers” saxophone section consisted of Zoot Sims, Stan Getz, Herbie Steward and Serge Chaloff.
